The Bank of Israel had formed the Credit Data Sharing System, which includes the Central Credit Register, a data pool documenting the financial behavior of every household in the country. This in fact introduced the concept of credit score to the Israeli market, breaking the centralist loan system, allowing greater competition, and lower and reasonably suited interests. Dan & Bradstreet is a world renown credit company that has been operating in Israel as well, and now sets out to become the pioneering leader of credit score management and guidance.

However, although popular in other parts of the world, the concept still has to be introduced locally. Further cultural, financial and social education is required to really earn the public’s trust. Common fears revolve around socio-economical stigmas, privacy issues and lack of fundamental understanding regarding the end user’s ability to actually save money and get better, tailor-made offers. D&B’s mission is to be the first to introduce Credit Score to the Israeli public.
