Lumenis, a global leader in energy-based medical solutions, is an expert in innovating clinical solutions that boosts quality of life. The more products it launched, the bigger and wider its department range grew. With a legacy of innovation in Vision and Aesthetics, these have become its main departments, with Vision offering solutions for eye health, and Aesthetics offering solutions for skin and hair. The company faced a challenge—how to create a unified visual and strategic language that connected all products under one strong mother brand, that takes its own place at the front. Lumenis turned to us to help craft a consistent, sophisticated identity that would align its pioneering technologies with a clear and compelling brand presence. We’ve been collaborating for years, creating strong tech brands together.
Our collaboration with Lumenis began with an in-depth strategic process, aimed at unifying the brand while respecting the unique positioning of each product line. Together, we conducted strategic workshops for both Lumenis Vision and Aesthetics, ensuring that every brand touchpoint—from product storytelling to messaging—was aligned with brand core components, and different audiences – mainly physicians. Lumenis Vision’s positioning is LUMENIS VISION IS A VLUE CREATOR: CLINICAL, WORKFLOW, PATIENT AND PHYSICIAN. Its mission is TO ELEVATE TREATMENT. This strategic foundation allowed us to build a seamless bridge between Lumenis’s corporate identity and its specialized solutions.
To translate this strategy into design, we developed a dynamic yet consistent visual system. Each product was given its own logo and color scheme, referencing the core Lumenis brand while telling its own unique story. The logos convey light and shine, referencing the use of IPL, light and warmth, conveying the idea of elevation, empowerment, optimism and boosting quality of life. Our goal was to specify every product, while enabling each department to move as one, and be easily associated with Lumenis, its legacy, values and quality. This approach created a strong visual hierarchy, reinforcing brand recognition while allowing individual products to shine. The result is a refined, cohesive brand identity that reflects Lumenis’s leadership in the medical and aesthetic technology space—one that empowers both doctors and patients, caters to medical and aesthetic needs, speaks the language of precision, innovation, and trust.
